Being part of the Hillsborough Rescue Squad gives members incredible opportunities to make a difference in our community.
As a volunteer EMT, you'll learn skills and gain valuable experience that will be with you forever. You'll be part of an incredible team that exists to serve others. No previous experience is necessary -- just a strong desire to make a difference!
Types of membership:
Active members are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians and respond as part of an ambulance crew to emergency calls in Hillsborough Township. Many active members are also trained in rescue operations.
Rescue affiliate members supplement active members in rescue operations. Most members in this category have previous EMS, rescue, or firefighting experience.
Junior members are between the ages of 16 and 18. They train as emergency medical technicians, but remain under the direct supervision of senior members.
